Loading And Saving

LOADING

Under the menu TAPE there are the following subItems:

Tape Management

You can select a subdirectory Under "Basic" to act as a tape.

In tapes the order of the files play an important role so you have to add files to the tape
and you have to put them in the preferred order.

On the main window use the buttons in the lower left of the screen to go to the first/last file, previous/next and
you can also eject the tape.
Type "load" to load the selected file.

Select File for Loading

This option allows you to select a single file in the Basic Subdirectory to be the next
file when you try to load from tape.
In order for this option to work you must eject the tape.
Type load to load the file.

Under the menu DISK there are the following subItems:

Disk Management

Under the subdirectory "Discs" each subdirectory represents a diskette.
With this menu option you can select which diskette is mounted in disk drive 1 and 2.
This works ONLY when "With EIM" or "With Disk Controller" is checked on the NB SETUP  file menu.

SAVING

To save a basic program type Save "<Filename>" where <Filename> is the name of the file
that will be created in the folder BAS.
IMPORTANT NOTE : Use the Save command only WITH a filename i.e. Save "Demo" not just Save

OPENOUT - OPENIN

Using openout and openin works ok although i did not test it very much,
just remember to use a filename when using an openout command
and set the filename or the tape for the openin to work.
