ZORK & MINI-ZORK running on the emulator
Hi, I'm new to the forum and the NB. I'm running the latest NB Emu 2.62 and have worked out how to run it in CP/M mode. I downloaded the ZORK package and put into a INFOCOM folder. I set that as Drive A: and I start ZORK1. It comes up with version number etc and then I'm "West of House.......There is a small mailbox here."
But when I answer "open mailbox" it then says on the next line "Opening the small mailbox reveals a leaflet." and the game them restarts ! If I type in "Quit" it should go through the motion of quitting and returning to the A: prompt, but instead it just re-starts the game again. F12 is the only way out.
Question, am I doing something wrong or am I missing something?
I also put in the INFOCOM folder MINIZORK and when I run that, it runs fine as expected. I then put a copy of my ZORK1.DAT file (a slightly bigger and later version) that I run on another CP/M emulator fine but it runs with the same re-starting problem.
Also, what terminal does the NB emulate, is it ADM3A ? I configured Catchum & Ladder to ADM3a and they seam to run correctly on the screen.
Cheers
