      Hi Chris,

Before importing any text file you have prepared, the emulator should send open#0,0,”l200″.

There is a problem with the hash #, and sends open0,0,”1200″. This throws an error, and all lines are corrupted afer that.

Also notice that if yoy make a reset during the process, lines start importing wirh no corruption, after an error is encountered. Then never stops, and coninues importing corrupted text again.

          throws an error.

In particular, any command containing # will throw an error and subsequent corruption. for instance: close#1

              Hello,

I have used the text import facility a lot, as Chris knows 🙂 and maybe this is a problem with your keyboard definition? (the hash symbol position maybe is not the optimal).

                Hi Stefano,

Thanks for your response: My spanish keyboard has the HASH # symbol at the up row in the “3” key.

                It is activated pressing AltGr+3

if I swap to english keyboard configuration, does it affect to importing from a file?

                Any help is welcomed.

                Rafa

AFAIK the keyboard configuration affect the text import, I remember when I first installed the emu the hash symbol was substituted by double quotes until I reprogrammed the configuration. Keyboard mapping utility is a valid help.
