Very early version of the Newbrain computer believed to have been used to drum up trade around the world before full production began.
Custom versions of the Newbrain were made for a pharmaceutical chain. These had no output to screen display, only the vacuum fluorescentdisplay as seen on a normal Newbrain AD.
This model features a transparent case, probably used before the cream-coloured one was decided upon, and rear ports which differ from those of a normal Newbrain and show no port to output to screen.
Amazingly, the Newbrain is working fine though it takes a few seconds to ‘kick in’ when first switched on.
